Vena's Adventure

Here is the beginning of the story in Vena's Adventure.

This is a world of swords and magic.

A young girl with blue hair is practicing her sword’s ability with a dummy in her yard.

Her parents were killed by monsters when she was only nine, and she raises herself up these years with some kind villagers’ help.

Different from other girls in the village, she is more mature and behaviors like a male.

She doesn’t like dolls or beautiful clothes, instead she loves her father’s sword.

Her dream didn’t change a little bit since her parents’ dead---to be a swordsman like her father and defeat the monster which killed her parents seven years ago.

One day, she goes out to the mountains to hunt for food as usual.

“Vena, you are going to the mountains again today?”

An old man stands by the side of road and asks.

“Yes, it’s about to the winter, I need to store more food at home.”

“Good luck this time!”

In the mountains, when she is searching for the footprints of the preys, she found something strange.

Some fighting traces are all around this place, and many small stone pieces scattered on the ground.

She never saw this kind of white stones before in this mountain, and these stones look like being knocking down from a large stone.

Curiosity drives Vena to keep tracking these stones.

Finally, she found a cave, and the traces of stones goes inside the cave.

“I have been living near these mountains for 16 years, and here is no any dangerous species.”

Vena tells herself and steps in.

The interior of this cave isn’t dark at all because of these white stones. They make slight white lights on the wall and ground.

Keep going deep, Vena found a large white stone as tall as she is.

She tries to get closer ad see exactly what this stone is.

Suddenly. The stone moves and grows hands and foots from its body.

“Ohh my lord, this is a small rock golem. How could this monster be here!”

The rock golem jumps around and look very angry. It seems that its sleep was disturbed by Vena.

Even with her father’s sword in hand, Vena can’t feel any safety in front of this monster.

Her foot start to shake because she saw that monster just raised a big stone and is trying to throw.

“Am I fast enough to dodge its attack? I…I’m so afraid.”

Rock Golem shouts loudly and throws that stone straightly towards Vena.

“I’m dying, I’m dying...I don’t want to die. Someone helps me! Father...”

Vena is so scared, and she tries to dodge that stone by rushing to her side with eyes closed.

She heard that stone flying in the air but didn’t feel like hit by that.

Vena slowly opens her eyes and found that stone is flying slowly in the air.

She escapes the direction in which the stone comes, and notices that her father’s sword becomes dark and longer.

“What just happened? It looks like the time was slowed, but I didn’t get impacted by that.”

She waves her new sword and finds it fits well.

“This is not the time to think about it. I must beat this monster now in case the time speed goes back”

She rushes towards that rock golem and attacks.

The new sword is much lighter to wave, but more destructive.

Vena breaks this small rock golem with two hits.

Right after the monster killed, Vena can now hear her violent breathing sound.

She sits on the ground and starts to think about what just happen on her.

The sword turns back to the one she familiar with right after the monster killed.

“Whatever happened before, I must go home now. This mountain is not safe now”

When Vena is back home, she immediately asks for the sword coach in the village to train with her.

However, no matter how hard she tries, she can’t slow down the time again. That was like a dream.

The winter comes and leaves, again Vena goes to hunt for food.

This time, she chooses another road which is far from that cave and luckily hunts a boar.

“This can be eaten for a long time. What a lucky day.”

“Hiss----”

Vena stops because a snack is looking at her at the middle of the road.

It is not hard to kill this snack, but the poison is very troublesome and needs to be careful.

The snack suddenly attacks towards Vena, and Vena rushes to the side.

The familiar feeling comes to Vena again. The time was slowed down and her sword changes too.

Only one hit, and the snack dies. This time Vena has more time to check what happened to her.

She can hear some whispers around her but can’t hear them clearly.
